The 2026 World Cup Stadiums, Seen From Space.

June 01, 2026
Case study

The 2026 FIFA World Cup is the largest in history. For the first time, 48 national teams compete across three countries simultaneously; the United States, Mexico and Canada. 104 matches, 39 days, five time zones.

The scale is hard to grasp on paper. From space, it’s easier.

We captured all 16 venues at Very High Resolution. What you see in each image is the actual stadium, captured from orbit, exactly as it stands.

A few things worth knowing before you swipe.

The Estadio Azteca in Mexico City is the only venue in history to have hosted two World Cup Finals, 1970 and 1986. On June 11, 2026, it hosts the Opening Match of a third. No other stadium on Earth has that record.

AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, holds 94,000 spectators, the largest capacity in the tournament. It was built with a retractable roof and a video board so large it became, briefly, the biggest high-definition screen ever constructed. It hosts a Semifinal.

MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, hosts the Final on July 19. It sits in the middle of highway interchanges, has no roof, and holds 82,500 people.
